Work Life Balance

There’s been a lot said about work life balance. From there’s no such thing, to the 3 day work week. Whatever you might think, the truth is you can't work all the time. And if you do it’s only a matter of time before you completely burn out. Our lives weren't meant to be all about work.


So I wanted to make one simple suggestion to you today.

One simple recommendation that if followed could transform your life:


Commit to taking off one day a week. For one day a week do absolutely no work. Don’t even think about work. Completely shut down for one day a week. And see what happens.


For me, I started doing this a few years ago and I actually ended up way more productive. Because what I discovered about myself was that as my mind was freed from processing for one day a week, my creativity and energy levels went through the roof. My ideas were fresher and I stayed more engaged.


But it’s not just about work productivity. My family benefited as well. My connections grew deeper and I was able to take time to relax and connect.
